"Home Cooking" is a period drama directed by An Jian and starring Huang Zhizhong, Zuo Xiaoqing, Song Chunli and Tong Yao.

The drama tells the story of Liu Hongchang, a chef in a state-run canteen, who, after the death of his wife Wen Hui, supported his wife's family in dire straits without asking for anything in return, and fulfilled his promise to his wife of "a word, a lifetime" with his life.
