Food safety standards are mandatory standards. In addition to food safety standards, no other mandatory standards for food shall be formulated.
According to the "Chinese People's **** and State Food Safety Law" Article 25 Food safety standards are mandatory standards. In addition to food safety standards, shall not develop other food mandatory standards.
Article 26 The food safety standards shall include the following:
(1) food, food additives, food-related products in the pathogenic microorganisms, pesticide residues, residues of veterinary drugs, biological toxins, heavy metals and other contaminants, as well as other substances hazardous to human health, the limited amount of provisions;
(2) varieties of food additives, the use of the scope, the amount of food additives;<
(C) the nutritional composition of primary and secondary food for infants and young children and other specific groups of people requirements;
(D) and hygiene, nutrition and other food safety requirements related to the requirements of the label, logo, instructions;
(E) the hygiene requirements of the food production and management process;
(F) and food safety related to the quality of requirements;
(G) and food safety related to food testing;
(VII) (viii) Food testing methods and procedures related to food safety;
(viii) Other contents that need to be formulated as food safety standards.

The food safety supervision and management of the people's government at or above the provincial level, agricultural administration and other departments shall collect and summarize the problems in the implementation of food safety standards, and timely notification of the same level of health administration. Food production operators, food industry associations found that food safety standards in the implementation of problems, should immediately report to the health administrative department.
