Second, the production process:

(a) the production of lantern skeleton.

Because it is a double hexagonal lantern, the most important thing is to build the skeleton, which can be divided into two parts:

1, first do the lower lantern skeleton. Cut 12 pieces of rectangular cardboard of the same size, vertical splicing and paste firmly as shown. The size of each piece of skeleton depends on the size of the lantern. We made a large lantern, and each piece of the lower skeleton is about the size of a regular greeting card.

2. Make the upper lantern skeleton. Cut 12 pieces of rectangular cardboard of the same size, horizontal as shown in the picture and paste firmly. The size of each piece of skeleton should be coordinated with the lower lantern skeleton.

(2) Upper and lower lantern external decoration

1, the lower lantern is the main part, the external decoration should be exquisite, shiny. Lanterns are of course the best looking bright red. So I chose to use bright red cardboard to paste the six sides of the lower layer of the package. 6 sides of the paste different patterns, respectively, 3 Year of the Sheep stickers and 3 three-dimensional flower-shaped greeting cards.

2, the bottom of the lower lantern decoration: use ready-made gold fortune stickers to seal the lower lantern decoration, and then wear a Chinese knot as the bottom hanging decoration.

3, the upper lantern external decorations: respectively with hard cardboard printed with auspicious blessings and auspicious cloud pattern, in turn, paste firmly. In order to reflect the requirements of the children also participate, I let An An put a lot of colorful shiny diamond stickers on the outside of the lantern. Under the light, the lantern is even more sparkling and gorgeous.

4. The flying corners of the upper lantern: I used an environmentally friendly material to make them - used paper rolls. Luckily I have kept before, 6 rolled paper cores to build a good size, paste the red couplets (or other red paper).

5, the upper lantern 6 flying corner decoration: homemade red spikes (tassels), pasted under the flying corner.

6, the top of the upper lantern decoration: the use of red bags (or other rigid wrapping paper) to cover the top of the upper lantern

(c) the upper and lower lanterns connected: the upper and lower lanterns connected with colorful or red thick rope, and the bottom of the upper lantern skeleton and the lower lantern top skeleton fixed.
