Xuyi County, a county under the jurisdiction of Huai 'an City, Jiangsu Province, is located in the Yangtze River Delta, in the southwest of Huai 'an, the lower reaches of Huaihe River, the south bank of Hongze Lake, and the middle and east of Jianghuai Plain. It borders Jinhu County and Tianchang City in Chuzhou in the east, Liuhe District in Nanjing, Lai 'an County and mingguang city in Chuzhou City in the south and west respectively, and Sihong County and Hongze District in the north and northeast respectively.
Xuyi lobster is a local specialty, known as the "lobster capital". Xuyi lobster is characterized by "three whites" (cheek white, meat white and floor white).
