Maoweihong is an evergreen shrub, belonging to Amaranthaceae of Euphorbiaceae, with semi-tendril-like branches and a plant height of 10cm ~ 25cm, which can crawl on the ground. If it is cultivated in hanging pots, it will hang upside down. The female flower is short spike-shaped, fluffy and bright red, which looks like a cat's tail and a red caterpillar.
