On the morning of that day, Sanquan Foods issued an announcement in response to the fact that its products, soup-filled dumplings, were suspected to be positive for African swine fever virus nucleic acid, saying that the company had immediately removed the relevant suspected batches of products from all sales outlets. The channel was sealed, and an investigation team led by the Henan Provincial Animal Husbandry Bureau has gone to Hunan and Gansu to conduct investigations.

On the same day, Sanquan Food responded to investor questions on the interactive platform of the Shenzhen Exchange, saying, “The company has paid attention to this incident. On February 18, Sanquan Food announced that the company would communicate with the regulatory authorities as soon as possible after learning the information, take action, assume corresponding responsibilities, and actively cooperate with the relevant departments of the two places.
