First, the origin of National Day
National Day is one of the most important festivals in a country, a symbol of an independent country, and a reflection of the country's state system and polity. As the National Day embodies the cohesion of the country and the nation, holding a large-scale celebration on the National Day is also a concrete manifestation of the government's call for mobilization. Many countries hold military parades during the National Day, which can show national strength, enhance national confidence, fully embody cohesion and exert appeal. Usually, National Day is the independence day of this country, the signing of the constitution, the birthday of the head of state or other important commemorative events, and some of them are the Saint's Day of the patron saint of this country. However, the National Day of our country is the day when our country was founded, which is called National Day.
Second, the reasons for the annual National Day shift.
1, the time occupied by the working day.
The National Day holiday is only three days. If Mid-Autumn Festival is added, the legal holiday is four days. The seven-day National Day holiday is like this. A three-day statutory holiday is a two-day public holiday or a two-day holiday. If you rest on weekdays, you need to get your workday back on weekends.
2. Take a long vacation.
Working overtime before and after National Day is to make up for seven days off. Because few holidays in a year can be summed up as seven days, only the Spring Festival and National Day.
3. Notice stipulated by the state.
Every year, the National Day holiday is issued by the State Council, and then implemented everywhere. The arrangement of vacation is also arranged by the State Council, and many enterprises implement it according to the national vacation standard.
In addition, during the National Day, overtime that belongs to legal holidays must be paid, overtime on rest days must be compensated, and overtime that cannot be compensated must be paid. Article 44 of the Labor Law stipulates that if workers are arranged to work longer hours, they shall be paid more than 150% of their wages. If workers are arranged to work on rest days but cannot be arranged for compensatory rest, they shall be paid more than 200% of their wages. If workers are arranged to work on legal holidays, more than 300% of their wages will be paid.
