1. Hongdu Middle School has a long history. It was founded in October 1952. As a school for the children of workers of the 320 Factory, it established a junior high school in 1956 and a high school in 1959. In August 2000, it merged with the original Hongdu Middle School. The two schools of Dudu Vocational High School (technical secondary school) merged. In June 2006, the school was transferred from Hongdu Group Company to the management of Nanchang Municipal Government. In May 2007, it was officially changed to "Nanchang Hongdu Middle School" with the approval of the municipal government.
