Calcite is found in limestone mountains and is widespread in Tertiary and Quaternary limestone and metamorphic deposits. Calcite is a rock-forming mineral of the earth, accounting for more than 40% of the total amount of the earth's crust, with no less than 200 types. The representative places of origin are China, Mexico, England, France, the United States and Germany. All countries in the world have this mine. Calcite can also be found in North and Northeast China, but it is often accompanied by dolomite, with a whiteness of 94 or less and high acid insolubles.
