A live chicken, 5 slices of ginger.
5 garlic and 2 leeks.
2 tablespoons salt and half a bottle of barbecue sauce.
2 tablespoons honey with a little oil.
Steps of roast chicken with honey sauce
1. Wash the chicken and remove the internal organs, head and tail for later use; Sprinkle a little salt and oil, gently pat the inside and outside of the chicken with your hands, and evenly spread the salt and oil;
2. Mix half a bottle of barbecue juice with a little honey to make a sauce, smear it on the whole chicken, pat it gently, massage for 10 minute, and put the whole onion knot, ginger slices and garlic in the chicken stomach for more than half a day (I pickled it one night in advance);
3. Preheat the oven to 180, skewer the chicken with a barbecue fork, bake it for 10 minutes, take it out, dip it in the sauce with a brush and spread it evenly on the chicken;
4. Continue to bake for about 20 minutes, take out and brush the sauce for the second time, and continue to bake for 20 minutes;
5. Take it out and brush the sauce every 20 minutes. The whole roast chicken process is about 1.5 hours;
6. It's baked.
