(1) Clinical symptoms include nasal discharge, blood in the discharge, deafness, tinnitus, headache, facial numbness and diplopia.
(2) Physical examination may reveal nasopharyngeal mass, neck mass and cerebral nerve palsy.
(3) Imaging tests, including X-ray film, CT and MRI.
(4) Nasopharyngoscopy including indirect nasopharyngoscopy and fiberoptic nasopharyngoscopy.
(5) Histopathologic diagnosis, which is generally done in recent years, is needle puncture cytology.
(6) Serum EBV antibody test can be used as an auxiliary diagnostic method.
