What are the eating habits that lead to high uric acid?
Friends with high uric acid are caused by purine metabolic disorder, high protein diet is the source of purine in the body, and ultra-high protein diet is an important reason for purine metabolic disorder. We can divide foods into four categories according to the number of purine milligrams per 100g.
A food rich in purine (more than 100mg per 100g) mainly includes animal viscera (liver, kidney, pancreas, bone marrow), broth, meat sauce, beer, shellfish, sardines, etc.
The second kind of food containing purine (more than 50-100 mg per100 g) includes most fish, poultry and a few beans.
Three kinds of foods containing purine (more than 25-50mg per 100g) mainly include beef and mutton, pork, chicken, shrimp and crab, cauliflower, spinach, green beans, mushrooms, peanuts and soybeans.
Four foods with little or no purine (100g< < 25mg), including milk, eggs, cheese, polished rice and most fruits and vegetables.
Apples, pears and grapes in fruits contain less purine, while tea, coffee, fruit juice, soda, chocolate, cocoa tea, rice, wheat, shark's fin, sea cucumber and butter contain less purine and can be eaten.
In principle, friends with high uric acid don't eat one food or less, but eat four more foods. The second and third kinds of foods are determined according to the blood uric acid level, and the daily purine should be limited to 100- 150mg. The purine content in all kinds of milk, cheese and eggs is extremely low, which can be used as an important source of animal protein. Diet should be light and easy to digest, low in fat, and avoid spicy and irritating food, so it is right to eat less meat and more vegetables!
Next, what vegetables can't we eat?
First of all, tell everyone that this is a false proposition and a wrong understanding! It used to be thought that patients with hyperuricemia and gout were usually advised to avoid eating foods rich in purine, such as meat, seafood, some vegetables with high purine content (such as asparagus, mushrooms and spinach) and beans.
But now research shows that increasing the intake of purine-rich plant foods, such as mushrooms and soybeans, will not increase the risk of gout and hyperuricemia. In the daily diet, the intake of plant-based high-purine food increases, which actually increases the intake of human cellulose, which is conducive to fighting gout. For the primary prevention of gout, an absolutely low purine diet is unnecessary. Many plant foods rich in purine will not cause hyperuricemia or gout, but can play a protective role.
Therefore, people are worried about moderate purine vegetables, such as asparagus, bean sprouts, cauliflower and beans. In the past, people thought they should eat less. Recently, however, more and more studies have found that vegetables rich in purine will not increase serum uric acid level and the incidence of gout, and even promote uric acid excretion. So you can eat all kinds of vegetables. Of course, spinach and other vegetables are rich in oxalic acid. It is generally believed that oxalic acid can reduce uric acid excretion, so it needs to be blanched before eating to reduce oxalic acid.
Other suggestions:
1, seafood intake has a strong correlation with blood uric acid level. Especially in coastal areas, residents eat a lot of seafood products in their daily diet, and the risk of hyperuricemia and gout is also high. High-risk groups who eat a lot of seafood in a short period of time are easy to induce acute gout attacks. It used to be thought that once gout was diagnosed, patients should strictly avoid eating all kinds of seafood.
2. Appropriately increase the intake of alkaline foods, such as yam, lotus root, sweet potato, vegetables, citrus fruits, kelp, milk, eggs, potatoes, refined starch, pasta, vermicelli and other alkaline foods, so that the PH value of urine is above 7.0 and the precipitation of urate crystals is reduced. Wax gourd and watermelon are also alkaline foods, which have obvious diuretic effect and are more beneficial to hyperuricemia.
3, drink plenty of water, no kidney damage. It is recommended to drink more than 2000ml of water every day. In order to prevent urine concentration at night, it is more appropriate to drink water before going to bed or at midnight. Especially when using uric acid excretion drugs, drink plenty of water to help uric acid excrete with urine.
4, abstinence, the component of alcohol is ethanol, which can lead to the accumulation of lactic acid and ketone bodies in the body, thereby inhibiting uric acid excretion, and increasing the catabolism of purine, so that uric acid is significantly increased.
5, food cooking, cooking with vegetable oil is appropriate, first cook meat, fish, poultry, and then discard the soup before cooking, so that 50% of purine, spinach, cauliflower, etc. are drained before eating. When cooking, we should limit the use of irritating spices, such as pepper, pepper, pepper, ginger and so on.
6. Finally, lose weight. Obesity is usually the cause of hyperuricemia. Obese people must exercise properly, eat a low-fat diet, control carbohydrates properly, lose weight and reduce insulin resistance. However, you can't lose weight too fast. Excessive weight loss is easy to cause ketone body to rise and hinder uric acid excretion.
