1, hydroponic time
In fact, jackfruit can be propagated by hydroponics, but don't blindly maintain it by hydroponics. Generally, hydroponic propagation can be carried out in the spring and autumn growing season, which can promote its seeds to take root and sprout quickly in water and make it grow better in water.
2, stone processing
Usually, in the process of hydroponics of jackfruit, it is necessary to take out the mature jackfruit core, wash the pulp with clear water, then soak it in warm water for a week, and then disinfect it with potassium permanganate, so that the treated core can be buried in water moss to accelerate germination.
Step 3 prepare the container
In each hydroponic process, after the core of jackfruit is treated, a container with a suitable size can be prepared, the diameter can be 10 ~ 15 cm, and the container should not be too deep, otherwise it will affect the rooting of the core in water and make it unable to grow normally.
4. Management measures
After the jackfruit core is put into a hydroponic container, it needs to be soaked in half water, and the rooting part is upward, so it needs to be placed in an astigmatism environment, and the water source needs to be changed every other week. After it takes root and sprouts, just drop a few drops of nutrient solution.
Cultivation method of jackfruit
1, grafting time: grafting time can be carried out from April to June every year. Selection of scion: We chose Malaysia 1 and planted it in sunny places. The mother tree is required to be a 3-5-year-old fruit tree with vigorous growth, thick branches, full bud eyes and no pests and diseases. We use pruning shears to collect scions, and each scion takes 3-4 bud eyes as the standard.
2. Scion pruning: Scion should be cut from the twig, and the scion is about 15-20cm. Generally, each scion can have 2-4 buds. Immediately after pruning, wrap the repaired scion with wet cloth to achieve the purpose of moisturizing before grafting.
3. Bud grafting method: before grafting, prepare grafting knife, scissors, wet cloth and film adhesive tape with a thickness of 0.04 mm, a width of 2 cm and a length of 20-25 cm. These tools must be kept clean and free of oil stains. Generally, the stock seedlings should be cut first when grafting, but the abdominal bud grafting method does not need to cut the stock seedlings. Instead, the scion buds are grafted on the stems of rootstock seedlings.
