Do squash grow on trees or are they buried in the ground?
Squash grows in the ground. Squash is a class of mustard species of the genus Brassica, family Cruciferae. The usual squash (e.g. Fuling squash) is made from the vegetable stem mustard. Stem mustard belongs to the Cruciferae Brassicaceae mustard species leaf mustard subspecies of leaf mustard varieties, which originally evolved from wild mustard, its evolutionary order is wild mustard mustard - leaf mustard - shoots mustard - stem mustard. The mature stalked mustard before shooting is 60 to 80 centimeters tall above ground, with an underground root 20 to 30 centimeters long, and the whole plant generally weighs 2 to 4 kilograms. The lower part of the above-ground part is a fat tuberous stem, on which grows more than ten large leaves; the petiole base of the large leaves grows a tuberous fleshy stem, and the obvious tuberous bumps are generally 3 to 5. The skin of the tuberous stem is green and smooth, and the flesh under the skin is white and plump, with a tender and crispy texture. Tumor stem part, that is, the head of the green cabbage, generally weighing about 0.5 kilograms each, the larger 1 to 1.5 kilograms.
