In the production and processing of organic food rice, it is absolutely forbidden to use synthetic substances such as pesticides, fertilizers and growth regulators, and it is forbidden to use genetically modified varieties. Therefore, the production of organic food is much more difficult than that of green food, and it is necessary to establish a brand-new production system and adopt corresponding agricultural substitution technologies.
The production system of organic food rice is characterized by selecting crop varieties with strong resistance, returning straw to the field, applying green manure and harmless animal manure to fertilize the soil, maintaining nutrient circulation, adopting physical and biological measures to prevent diseases, weeds and pests, adopting reasonable farming measures to protect the environment, prevent soil erosion, and maintain the biological and genetic diversity of the production system and the surrounding environment. Pay attention to the circulation of nutrients in the system in order to maintain and improve soil fertility, and rely on ecosystem management to develop local autotrophic systems according to local conditions. It is an agricultural production mode with ecological benefit as the priority development goal, which embodies the requirements of agricultural sustainable development. Organic food rice needs to meet the following four conditions:
(1) Raw materials must come from organic agricultural production system.
(2) The products strictly follow the production, processing, packaging, storage and transportation standards of organic food in the whole production process.
(3) In the process of organic food production and circulation, producers have a perfect quality tracking and review system and complete production and sales records.
(4) It must be certified by an independent organic food certification body.
