The history of Beijing Quanjude Roast Duck Restaurant can be traced back to 1864. The founder of Quanjude, Yang Shoushan, was born in Yangjiazhai, Ji County, Hebei Province.

The Yang family is the descendant of Yang Quanren, the old club of Quanjude in Beijing. Quanjude Roast Duck, which was originally created by Yang family, has gone through a long period of more than a century.
