Hairy crabs don't enter the ground cages, so you can put a proper amount of broken fish in the ground cages and trap them by combining with lights, or choose other fishing methods, such as screen fishing, running water fishing and dry pond fishing. The breeding cycle of hairy crabs is generally about 18 months. Crab seedlings are purchased around April, and they are cultured until1February of that year, and the crabs are detained. In the next year, they are transferred to a big pond for breeding, and they are fished around 10 days before the Mid-Autumn Festival.
First, what should I do if the hairy crabs don't enter the cage?
1, reason
(1) The ground cage is relatively new, with a heavy smell, and the color difference in water is too obvious, which leads to the hairy crabs not getting on the cage.
(2) The ground cage is too old and placed in water for a long time, which leads to more attachments on the ground cage, which is very obvious, so the hairy crabs do not get on the cage.
(3) Hairy crabs are infected and their vitality decreases.
(4) There are no hairy crabs in the pond or only a few hairy crabs.
(5) The temperature is high, the hairy crabs are not yet mature and there is no yield.
2. Solution
Put a proper amount of broken fish in the ground cage, and at the same time combine with light to trap (generally use a ground cage per mu of pond). Or choose other fishing methods, as follows:
(1) screen capture method: lay a single-layer screen in the pond, and take the early morning, evening and midnight as the key time to get off and close the net according to the law of day and night activities of river crabs.
(2) Running water fishing method: install net basket fishing gear at the water outlet, then open the water outlet, and the hairy crabs will enter the net basket with running water. When the water level drops to 0.2-0.3m, add water, then drain it, and so on.
(3) Dry pond catching method: drain the water in the pond to about 30-40cm, then dig a gradually inclined crab-collecting ditch along the center of the bottom of the pond to one side of the water outlet, with a width of about 50cm, and finally dig a crab-collecting ditch at the water outlet, with a length of 1m, a width of 1m and a depth of 1m, and finally use hands.
Second, how long is the breeding cycle of hairy crabs?
1, the breeding cycle of hairy crabs is generally about 18 months. If the crabs are directly purchased for breeding, the breeding cycle is even shorter, about 9- 10 months.
2. Generally, crab seedlings are purchased in April for hairy crab breeding, and the crabs are detained until about1February of that year. In the second year, the hairy crabs were transferred to the big pond for breeding, and they were caught about 10 days before the Mid-Autumn Festival.
3. The growth cycle of hairy crabs can be divided into eight stages, namely fertilized egg stage, flea larva stage, crab seedling stage, bean crab stage, crab detaining stage, yellow crab stage, adult crab stage and parent crab stage.
