1, material preparation
Before planting pea seedlings, we should first pay attention to the growth habits of pea seedlings. The suitable temperature for pea seedling growth is about 20 degrees, and indoor planting is the main method. Then we should prepare various means of production, such as germination accelerating frame and seedling tray. The number of layers of the germination accelerating frame is about 5, and the spacing between each layer is about 35 cm, which is convenient for operation and the width is controlled according to the length of the seedling tray. The seedling tray is mainly made of light plastic, which is convenient for the growth of pea seedlings. Finally, prepare the same number of seedling tray mats according to the number of seedlings.
2. Seed treatment
Then we should choose healthy seeds, mainly fresh and insect-free seeds, to ensure the quality of seeds and improve the germination rate. Then, before sowing, the seeds should be dried. After drying, wash two seeds with clear water, and then soak them in water twice the volume of the seeds for about 20 hours. Appropriate nutrient solution can be added to the water to improve the germination rate and taste of pea seedlings. It can also prevent the seeds from rotting and moldy. After soaking the seeds, take them out and drain them, and then accelerate germination. When the germination temperature is controlled at about 20 degrees, the seeds can be sown when they are white.
Step 3 sow properly
Before sowing, lay a layer of pad paper on the bottom of the plastic seedling tray prepared before, and the pad paper should have enough moisture. Then the treated seeds are scattered on seedling trays, and the sowing amount of about 3 trays is about 1kg. After sowing, move the seedling tray into the germination accelerating frame, then shade it, strengthen moisture retention and heat preservation, and promote germination. At this time, the germination temperature should also be kept at about 20 degrees. When accelerating germination, properly spray water on the seedling tray every day, and then change the position of the seedling tray to keep the temperature, humidity and light uniform. When the buds grow to about 3cm, move them to the cultivation rack.
4. Planting management
Management in the planting process is very important. The most important thing is to manage light and water well. Don't have too much light. If it is too strong, it will lead to seedling aging. Therefore, low light should be kept and the sunshade net should be properly covered. Then spray water about 3 times a day to keep the new buds fresh and tender. When spraying water, the dosage should be controlled according to the humidity of the substrate, not too large, and then the air humidity should be increased appropriately, and less water can be poured in rainy days. Proper ventilation is needed every day to avoid diseases caused by high humidity.
