A large number of peach blossom jellyfish appeared in Hainan farmer's well.
The peach blossom jellyfish (scientific name: Craspedacusta): a genus of freshwater-living small jellyfish in the class Hydrozoa, order Freshwater Jellyfish, family Hasa Jellyfish, 11 species have been recorded. The body of the jellyfish is 1.5-2 centimeters in diameter, with many tentacles and a thick ciliate membrane, and its hydrozoan stage is only a few millimeters in size. The margin of the bell-shaped body has hundreds of short tentacles. There is alternation of generations. The hydrozoan body is about 2 mm high, without tentacles, and produces the hydroid body by means of budding.
