1, Certificate: Mainland China needs Taiwan Pass and Taiwan Entry Pass to Taiwan Province. There are two types of passes: G Pass (for free travel) and L Pass (for group tour). In some areas, G Pass is not open, so when you do it, you must pay attention to that the pass is handled by the local police station, and the Taiwan Entry Pass can be handled online. Because I am studying in South Korea, it is very convenient to handle it in South Korea. You only need to apply for the Taiwan Entry Pass to get on the plane and take off directly.
2. Route: I want to visit more places at one time, so I landed in Kaohsiung, journey to the south, and finally arrived in Taipei, and flew back from Taipei.
The picture below shows the detailed itinerary of Taiwan Province's 10-day free travel:
3. Accommodation: Hotels in Taiwan Province are more expensive than those in the mainland. Generally, if you want to stay better, you have to pay about 300. Because we are still students and want to save as much as possible, all the rest are homestays except the first night. We booked them on Airbnb, and the environment is good. After 9 days, we averaged one person 1000, which is still very cheap.
4. Moving around the city: Kaohsiung-Kenting, Kenting-Hualien all chose the way of carpooling in Bao, and one person didn't arrive at 100. Kenting chose a one-day tour to Hualien, and it was highly recommended to leave Kenting for one night to arrive in Hualien. It was convenient and worry-free. Hualien went to Taipei, and we chose to take the train. The Taiwan Province train was not as strict as the mainland, and there would be queues and so on.
5. Traffic Guide: When you get off the plane, you can directly handle buses, subways and trains in easycard and easycard at the airport, which is very convenient, but it is better to use them in Kaohsiung, Hualien and Taipei. Because public transportation is convenient, there is no subway in Kenting, and the bus takes a long time to come, so we chose to rent a car in Kenting for two days. It's more expensive to take a taxi in Taiwan Province, but it's much cheaper to call a taxi, so you can get Uber.
6. Telephone card: you can get off the plane and handle it at the airport. All kinds of packages, 10 days 100 RMB, unlimited traffic, or you can book online in advance, and the price is similar.
7. Taiwan dollar: The exchange rate in Taiwan Province seems to be higher than that in the mainland, so you can exchange it in Taiwan Province, at the airport or at the ATM of convenience stores. It's very convenient. Almost every convenience store has ATMs, including paragliding. I 10 has nearly 3,000 RMB, so you can consider how much you need to change according to the situation.
8. Gourmet: I think Taiwan Province snacks that must be eaten include large intestine wrapped in small intestine, shaved ice, three cups of chicken, braised pork rice, big chicken chops, and fried egg and scallion cakes. It is highly recommended, and it must be the one in Dongdaemun Night Market in Hualien. It is super delicious! There is also the demon chicken chops in Dongdaemun Night Market, which is absolutely the best chicken chops I have ever eaten! There are 7- 1 1 in Taiwan Province, and there are many delicious foods in it. Lemon American and pudding are very good.
