Method for incubating soft-shelled turtle
First, the preparation of the incubator

Determine the size of the incubator according to the standard of 25,000 eggs per square meter; Need ventilation window; If infrared light bulb is used as heat source, it requires 50w power and automatic temperature controller per m3 space. The ground shall be leveled with cement, which shall be impervious; The bottom is paved with 5 cm thick clean fine sand; Wash the walls and fine sand with 10ppm bleaching powder before spawning, then soak the fine sand with 20ppm KMn04, and then rinse it with clean water; Finally, disinfect with 4ppm aerosol disinfectant and close the doors and windows for later use.

Second, the choice of incubation mode and incubation medium.

1. An incubator made of fir forest or plastic, with a length of 55cm, a width of 45cm, a depth of 10cm and a height of four corners of 1.5cm, is used for ventilation.

2. If sand is used as the culture medium for incubation, fine sand with a particle size of 0.5-0.6 mm should be piled up in the shade, and the water content is 8%- 12%. Requirements can be kneaded into a ball by hand, and then released.

3. If there is no sand to hatch, it is best to use sponge as the medium, and the lower layer is a perforated sponge tray with a thin sponge with a thickness of 0.8cm.

Third, choose eggs and frame them.

1. Select the eggs to be hatched, and eliminate unfertilized eggs, abnormal eggs, eggs with uneven lifelines, and flower eggs that are too dry and too wet to cause embryonic necrosis.

2. Arrange the selected turtle eggs evenly in vertical and horizontal directions according to the number of eggs in 17x20, and require all white animals to face up. If sand is used as the medium, spread 3-4 cm thick fine sand on the bottom of the box, and then cover the eggs with about 1-2 cm thick fine sand; If a sponge is used as the medium, put a special hollow sponge at the bottom of the box. Then wring out the thin sponge that has been disinfected in water by hand and gently spread it on the eggs;

3. Stack the boxes full of eggs in a staggered way, with the height of 10- 12 floors, and the distance between each building is about 20cm, which is convenient for air circulation.

Fourth, daily management.

1, temperature control, preferably constant temperature, requires 32 1℃.

2, humidity control, if the fine sand is too dry. Spray wet with spray gas, and pay attention to spray wet the box; Put the sponge in water, wring it out and then lay it.

3, rummaging through the cabinets, every 5-6 days, the upper box will be replaced by the lower one, and the lower one will be moved to the upper one, and the rotten eggs will be removed in time.

4. Open the window for half an hour every morning, but don't let the temperature drop more than 65438 0℃.

5. It is necessary to pour 10ppm KMnO4 into the water during hatching, which is beneficial to the closure of the umbilical cord and the prevention of diseases.

5. The little turtle walks out of the room.

After the small soft-shelled turtle hatched on the first day is caught, it is disinfected with 2ppm fry, and then it is concentrated in the temporary breeding pond for 1-2 days for fry cultivation, and then it can be released into the greenhouse or pond according to the size.

If the above measures are properly regulated, the hatching rate of soft-shelled turtle can reach above 95%, and the hatched fry are strong and not easy to get sick, which lays a solid foundation for future breeding.
