Venue: Wanhe Village, Gengjiaying Township, Yiliang County, Kunming
In the 58 acres of paddy fields around the village, rice flowers are in full bloom. The five colors of red, yellow, green, white and black are painted into the beautiful scenery of Yang Asha, the beautiful god of Miao nationality, leading the dance of maple leaf and butterfly. This huge painting created in a paddy field is the most popular scene in Yiliang County, which has the reputation of "land of fish and rice" and "granary in central Yunnan".
Yiliang is a county in Kunming, which is located in the main traffic road and has superior natural conditions. It's about an hour's drive from Kunming. The county seat is a plateau flat dam surrounded by mountains, Nanpanjiang passes through the city, and Yangzonghai, a plateau lake, is not far from the city.
So Yiliang is a rich place. I remember that when I first arrived in Kunming more than 30 years ago, food was still rationed. All the food stores can buy are old rice from the grain depot. I once went to Yiliang for a business trip and bought a few Jin of Yiliang new rice at the farmer's market. I remember it very deeply.
The superior natural environment makes Yiliang rich in tourism resources, and mountain climbing, wading and soaking in hot springs can all be realized here. In Yiliang, there are many interesting places. Yiliang is rich in hot spring resources, such as Tang Chi Hot Spring City and Yangzonghai An Baili Hot Spring. Yiliang has different grades of hot springs for you to choose from. Yangzonghai is the largest lake in Yiliang, and Jiuxiang Scenic Area is a unique karst cave, both of which are landmark attractions in Yiliang.
Turn 68 is a hiking route that we must take once a year.
Yiliang, with mountains and water, is naturally a paradise for tourists, especially those who love the outdoors. We often take part in hiking activities in Yiliang. The famous 68-way turn is the place we must go every year, as well as Laoye Mountain and Sun River, all of which are places we like to go.
Zhuan 68, a strange name, is a well-known place in the field of donkey friends in Kunming. It refers to a Panshan township road from Jing 'anshao to Xiaopojiao in the western suburbs of Yiliang County. It is only 6.3 kilometers from the top of the mountain to the foot of the mountain, but there are 68 bends, winding and embedded in the mountains. Around the Mid-Autumn Festival every year, the roads are full of cosmos, which has a unique charm. We will all go here for activities: turn 68 on foot and take the Flower Avenue.
Take this line, we usually take the train from Kunming to Yongfengying, and then go up the mountain to Jing 'an Shao, which is the highest point of the 68-way turn. From there, enter 68 detours, reach the foot of the mountain called Xiaopojiao by local people, then take a bus to Yongfengying Railway Station and return to Kunming by train.
The food in Yiliang is delicious, and roast duck is the representative of Yiliang food.
The best food in Yiliang is roast duck. Yiliang is rich in water system and rich in ducks. The duck skin baked by local special craft is crisp and tender, not as fat as Beijing roast duck and smaller in size, but it is a famous food in this area. Yiliang is a famous "hometown of roast duck" in Yunnan.
In Yiliang, there are many restaurants dealing in roast duck. Our favorite place is Heyuan Roast Duck Restaurant, which is next to my husband's road. Of course, "Lan Laoya" is more famous and has become a chain store, with several branches in downtown Kunming.
Yiliang Dragon Boat Festival Flower Street is beautiful and fun.
Yiliang also has a traditional custom-Dragon Boat Festival, which is a grand carnival. It is on the same day as the Dragon Boat Festival, on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month. "Flower Town Water City" is another business card of Yiliang.
Yiliang has good natural conditions, abundant water and sunshine, and diverse plant resources. On the Dragon Boat Festival, abundant rain and dew meet the blazing sunshine, and Yiliang becomes a flower town, with all kinds of flowers in full bloom and fragrant flowers in the air.
Yiliang Flower Street is usually located in Hu Ya Street in the township, where hundreds of merchants and stalls gather for hundreds of meters, mainly potted flowers and trees, with a wide variety of bonsai, green plants, flowers and meat. In addition, products related to flowers and gardening can also be found here. Since it is a street rush, there will be many traditional cuisines and local characteristics.
