Ingredients
1 egg
1 grilled sausage
1 hand pie crust
Few grated cheeses
Few green onions
How to make it
1. One egg, tempered.
2. Cut off the top, bottom, left and right sides of the crust and set aside.
3: Cut the remaining crust in half.
4: Spread the egg wash on one of the cut pieces (I spread it randomly).
Note! Here's where it's time to move the crust to the tin before operating on the next step! Because handmade pie crusts melt faster (maybe because of the oil in them?) It's easy to melt and become sticky, especially when it's hot, so it's hard to transfer it to the tinfoil if you have to wait for the next steps to be done (it's best to use an air fryer with a layer of tinfoil to make it easier to clean up).
5, lay the cut down one of the two sides, continue to apply the egg wash.
6: Layer on the remaining piece of pie crust that was cut down from the pair and spread with egg wash.
7: Continue laying the remaining two sides and spreading with egg wash.
8: Sprinkle with grated cheese ~ (Grated cheese should be thawed ahead of time or microwaved for half a minute to thaw)
9: Top with kielbasa and add some green onions. If there is any leftover egg wash, you can brush some more on.
10: If you are making more than one patty at a time, then repeat the steps above.
Note:
The distance between the two pies on the tinfoil should be placed appropriately at the beginning when you put the bottom layer of the pie crust, like the two on my picture are placed a little far away, and then put it into the air fryer are on top of the edge. At this point, because of the sticky crust (as I explained earlier), it's not easy to move it anymore.Set the air fryer to 175 degrees for 15 minutes + 5 minutes or so. Fry for 15 minutes to see how it cooks, and add 5 minutes or so as needed. (It's easier to burn a little bit if it's 180 degrees)
