Decoct with water. This prescription soothes the liver without using too many pungent drugs, supplemented by more nourishing blood and softening the liver, which is not forgetting the yin deficiency of quenching thirst.
Traditional Chinese Medicine Prescription
(1) Modified Xijiao Dihuang Decoction
[ Indications] Diabetic retinopathy (yin deficiency and hyperactivity of yang, eye collateral damage caused by fire).
[ prescription] 3g buffalo horn (fried first), 2g radix rehmanniae, 1g radix paeoniae alba, 8g cortex moutan, 1g fructus Gardeniae, 5g radix gentianae, 2g concha Haliotidis (fried first), 15g Rhizoma imperatae and 12g arborvitae.
[ Usage] One dose per day, decocted in water twice, and taken twice. Three weeks is a course of treatment.
(2) Danzhi Xiaoyao Pill
[ Indications] Liver depression and blood deficiency, chest pain, dysphoria and hot flashes, red cheeks and dry mouth, constipation, anorexia and irregular menstruation.

(3) Kaiyu Shugan Pill

(4) Ping 'an Pill
[ Indications] Qi stagnation injures the liver, liver-qi attacks the stomach, epigastric cold pain caused by disharmony between the spleen and stomach, fullness of food retention, belching, hiccups, less food intake, cold hernia, chronic hepatitis and gastritis.
[ Prescription] Radix Aucklandiae, Lignum Aquilariae Resinatum, Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae Viride, Rhizoma Corydalis, Nutmeg, Massa Medicata Fermentata, Flos Caryophylli Pericarpium, Poria, Fructus Amomi, Fructus Aurantii Immaturus, Semen Tsaoko, and Fructus Crataegi Arecae.
[ Usage] Take one pill orally, twice a day.
(5) Chaihu Shugan Pill
[ Indications] Chest and hypochondriac pain, alternating cold and heat, premenstrual abdominal pain and so on caused by liver depression, qi stagnation and blood stasis.
[ Prescription] Bupleuri Radix, Rhizoma Cyperi, Pericarpium Citri Tangerinae, Fructus Aurantii, Rhizoma Chuanxiong, Radix Paeoniae and Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata.
[ Usage] Take orally, 6-9g each time, three times a day, and take it with warm water on an empty stomach.
(6) Shugan Zhitong Pill
[ Indications] Chest and hypochondriac fullness, vomiting and acid water, abdominal pain caused by disharmony between liver and stomach and stagnation of liver qi.

(7) Shugan Tiaoqi Pill
[ Indication] epigastric pain. Pain in hypochondrium, nausea and vomiting, fullness and noise, constipation, etc.

(9) Chenxianghuaqi Pill
[ Indications] It is used for abdominal distension and pain, fullness in chest and diaphragm, loss of appetite, dyspepsia, belching and acid regurgitation caused by qi stagnation of liver and stomach.
[ prescription] Aquilaria Resinatum, Radix Aucklandiae, Rhizoma Cyperi, Herba Pogostemonis, Pericarpium Citri Tangerinae, Fructus Amomi, Rhizoma Curcumae, Massa Medicata Fermentata, Fructus Hordei Germinatus and Radix Glycyrrhizae.
[ Usage] Take orally, 3 ~ 6g each time, twice a day, and take it with warm water on an empty stomach. Or take it as directed by your doctor.
(1) Tiaowei Shugan Pill
[ Indications] Pain in the epigastric cavity, fullness in both sides, belching and acid swallowing, tasteless diet, and general pain caused by disharmony between liver and spleen and liver depression.

(11) Yueju Pill
[ Indications] is used for chest and diaphragm fullness, abdominal distension and pain, stagnation of qi, belching and acid swallowing caused by disharmony between liver and stomach.
[ prescription] Rhizoma Cyperi, Rhizoma Chuanxiong, Fructus Gardeniae, Massa Medicata Fermentata and Rhizoma Atractylodis.

(12) Shugan Pingwei Pill
[ Indications] Chest and hypochondriac fullness, fullness and noise, vomiting and acid water, stomachache and indigestion caused by liver depression and weak stomach.
