"Lu Binghua" is a children's film produced by Taiwan's Cosmetics Co., Ltd. in 1989. It is directed by Yang Liguo and stars Yu Han, Huang Kunxuan, Li Shuchen and others. It was released in Singapore on October 15, 1989. It was released in mainland China in the same year.
The film is adapted from the novel of the same name published by Zhong Zhaozheng in 1960. It tells the poignant story of a rural boy with a talent for painting who was not understood by his surroundings and unfortunately fell ill and died young. The film won the 26th Taiwan Film Golden Horse Awards for Best Supporting Actress, Best Movie Interlude and other awards. It is collected in Dainan Image Archives, Xinghua City, Jiangsu Province.
