Red to dark red particles or powder. Tasteless. Strong light resistance and heat resistance (105℃). It is stable to citric acid and tartaric acid, poor in reduction resistance, and turns brown when it meets alkali. Strong hygroscopicity. Soluble in water, red. Difficult to dissolve in B drunk. Soluble in glycerol. Insoluble in grease.
The preparation method includes diazotization of 4- amino-1- naphthalene sulfonic acid, coupling reaction with 2- naphthol-6,8-disulfonate, salting out with sodium chloride and refining.
