Stubborn Carrot’s film review

Positive review

"Stubborn Carrot" brings everyone complete relaxation. Perhaps, its sensational effect is far less than that of "2012", but the moment they walked out of the cinema, the audience of "Carrot" seemed to still be laughing, while the door of "2012" was filled with sighs. It is understandable that "Stubborn Carrot" is the warmest firewood in this severe winter (Sohu.com review).

In the play, Huang Xiaolei won the first prize by speaking authentic Sichuan dialect, which made the character more energetic and aura. In the storyline with Huang Bo as the main line, Huang Xiaolei also appeared frequently, and her natural and slightly designed performance style continued to win applause from the audience. After the screening, many viewers said that the scene in the movie where Huang Xiaolei appeared in dialect was very scene-stealing and can be called one of the essence of the entire movie (Sina Entertainment Review).

This is a movie worth watching several times. It has many intriguing plots. I didn’t find it satisfying the first time I watched it. I will buy my own ticket and watch it a second time (actor Sun Xingping).

Negative comments

"Stubborn Carrot" has all kinds of crazy elements, and the settings of the characters and plot also provide the possibility of things getting out of control, but it is just a spirit. It was not brought up, and even if it was brought up, it was not vomited out, which made people feel a little depressed (NetEase News Comment).

"Stubborn Carrot" is cloaked in black comedy, with Huang Bo's acting skills as insurance, a multi-line narrative framework, and a nonsensical farce as seasoning. However, these seemed to be genes inherited from the "Crazy" series, but they failed to grow into a strong man as powerful as "Crazy". At first glance, he looks strong on the outside but strong on the inside! (Film critics are full of reviews).

Since the release of "Crazy Stone", it is still exerting its residual heat and influencing a large number of domestic low-cost films. Although "Stubborn Carrot" cannot be regarded as following the trend, it is based on its multi-threaded and multi-character characteristics. Look, the intention of this film is very obvious. It wants to copy the successful route of "Crazy Stone" and become a small hit, but it obviously didn't reach the stage of success. This film can only be regarded as a "little rock" at best. As everyone knows, the rock is very hard and the radish is very fragile (reviewed by the film critic Dreaming of Crows).
