With the vigorous development of night market economy in various places, various artificial food streets have appeared. Unfortunately, there is no food in these artificial food streets.
Once upon a time, there was a snack street on the fourth floor of a once prosperous shopping mall in the old town of my hometown, so I went to visit with curiosity.
However, after I went there, I was disappointed. All the food sold in it was the same snacks that could be seen everywhere. Fried kebabs, mutton kebabs, roast pig's trotters, roast cold noodles, crayfish, flower nails, etc., not to mention no local characteristics, even the employees are local merchants, and the production process is not exquisite. Anyway, these foods can be sold as long as they are cooked and sprinkled with a lot of pepper or Chili powder, and the sense of food experience is almost zero.
Finally, this artificial snack street completely closed down after half a year. It's just the merchants who have rented stores and haven't sold them much.
After the development of the East New Town, Anqing specially opened a street, which was called "Seven Streets". Because "Eating" and "Seven" in Anqing dialect are homonyms, as the name implies, this street is indeed an artificial food street, with hundreds of merchants alone. After 6 o'clock in the evening, when the lights are on and the tables and chairs of roadside merchants are put on the road, the carnival at night begins.
Later, I followed my fame and went to visit. When I first arrived, I was really shocked. The sidewalks were filled with tables and chairs, and people were drinking and eating in an endless stream.
However, after going back and forth, I ate a lot, but when it comes to food, it is really hard to find. It is the same as the artificial food street all over the country, and it is the same food. For example, barbecue, crayfish, grilled fish, mala Tang, mutton kebabs, hot pot, and sheep scorpions ... The whole street is filled with the smell of pepper and pepper, mixed with the smell of all kinds of seasonings that can be used endlessly. When I first ate it, I felt spicy and enjoyable. When I waited for the next day, I felt that I didn't eat anything, because there were too many such food streets in the country.
In fact, almost every city has its own naturally formed food street, which is generally located in the old city, and some food streets may have a history of hundreds of years. However, with the expansion of urbanization, the urban area is getting bigger and bigger, and the new urban area also needs such a food street to meet the needs of residents, so the artificial food street came into being. However, it seems that only hot pot barbecue is the dominant food street.
The homogenization of food is the most prominent feature of these artificial food streets. Thanks to the development of modern logistics, the ingredients themselves have been able to break through the geographical boundaries and reach various places. You can eat seafood from Guangdong in Xinjiang and crayfish from the south in Beijing. However, it is also accompanied by the homogenization of artificial food streets.
The taste represented by pepper and prickly ash has swept across the country, and even in Guangdong, where spicy food is not eaten, it is getting worse. Heavy taste now seems to have become the representative of food street, even seafood, without pepper and garlic, it is not called night market food.
The food in the night market is more or less connected with alcohol, and only the food with heavy taste can resist alcohol, bring double stimulation and get temporary happiness.
However, is there really much food in such an artificial food street?
Personal opinion, don't spray.
