The shelf life of a birthday cake is usually three days. If you don't open the package, you can eat it for a day. If you don't trust, it will be better in the refrigerator!
Now everyone will order a birthday cake for himself on his birthday. Birthday cake is made of fresh milk and cake embryo, and some other ingredients such as fruits and nuts are added. How to keep the birthday cake bought on the same day until the next day? Today, I will share with you the methods of preservation.
1. Refrigerate
If the whole birthday cake is unopened, still in the cake box, or has been eaten but not finished, it can be refrigerated in the refrigerator. If there is a cake box, just put it directly in the cake box and put it in the freezer. If you don't have a cake box, but eat the leftover birthday cake, you can put it in a fresh-keeping box, and then cover it to prevent the odor and moisture in the refrigerator from entering the cake, and you can continue to eat it the next day.
Step 2 store at room temperature
Normal temperature storage mainly refers to when the weather is not particularly hot, such as spring, autumn and winter, which can be stored at normal temperature. Then it is best to store the cake in a cake box at room temperature, because the cake will not be squashed, and the space of the cake box is relatively large, so it can be stored in a cool and ventilated place to avoid direct sunlight. Generally, there is no problem in putting it in the next day, and the taste is still similar, so don't worry about deterioration.
3. Ice bag preservation
Now there is an aluminum foil insulation bag at home, and you can put the cake in this insulation bag. This insulation bag is cold and warm. If the weather is hot, you can actually put some ice packs in it, seal the bags and put them in the next day. Of course, this method is recommended to be used in cold weather.
Therefore, if you don't eat birthday cake on the first day, or you need to customize it one day in advance and put it the next day, you can use these fresh-keeping methods. However, some fresh milk or ice cream will soften for a period of time at room temperature, so it is recommended to put it in the refrigerator for refrigeration.
