Natural drying method. This method is to place the flower materials in a cool, dark, dry, clean and well-ventilated place and let them dry naturally. It is suitable for grass flowers that contain more cellulose and can be used when making three-dimensional dried flowers. The production method is: collect flowers after the dew has dried in the morning. After harvesting, cut the stems to the required length, remove a few leaves, excess side branches and damaged parts, tie them into appropriate bouquets with thin strings, and let the flowers hang downward on the wire. As the flowers dry, the originally tied bouquets can easily come loose, so be sure to tie them tightly at all times. After the flower branches are completely dry, spray them with an anti-transpiration agent and put them into a large box for later use. For some flowers with thin and tender petals that are easy to roll and deform when hanging upside down, the flat drying method can be used, that is, a metal mesh or other flat material with holes is used, and the lower end of the flower branch is vertically passed through the mesh, so that the flower can be held flat and straight. Place it on the mesh and let it dry naturally.
(2) Normal temperature pressing method. This method is a commonly used method for making flat dried flowers. Put the flower branches into absorbent paper, place them on a flat plate, place heavy objects (such as stones, bricks, etc.) on top, place them in a well-ventilated place, and let them dry naturally. When mass-producing dried flowers, specimen clips can be used instead of heavy objects. When using this method, please note that the moisture-absorbent paper needs to be replaced in time 1-3 days after pressing. This method can also be combined with rapid heating and drying. That is, on the second day after the flowers are pressed, or when they are about to dry, use an electric iron to gently iron the absorbent paper holding the flowers a few times, and then press them as usual and wait until they are dry. Dry thoroughly. This not only dries quickly, but also has an insecticidal and sterilizing effect, which is beneficial to the preservation of dried flowers. If you like bright colors, I suggest you use the second one.
