The synthetic drug also known as heminal is methaqualone.
Methaqualone, also known as methaqualone, hemina, and methaqualone, is a fast-acting barbiturate hypnotic. The hypnotic effect appears quickly and lasts for a long time. Generally, it is quickly absorbed through the gastrointestinal tract after administration. It takes effect within 10 to 30 minutes and lasts for 6 to 8 hours. Metabolized in the liver, its metabolites are combined with glucuronic acid and excreted by the kidneys.
The dosage for sedation is 0.1g orally each time, 3 times a day; the dosage for hypnosis is 0.1-0.2g orally, 0.5 hours before going to bed. For children, reduce the dosage.
After poisoning, this product first inhibits, then excites, and then inhibits the central nervous system; large doses directly act on the myocardium and can cause bleeding.
