The occurrence of the cabbage greenfly is heavy in the north, due to the annual occurrence of not many generations (in Beijing, for example, the annual occurrence of 4 to 5 generations), therefore, at present, the resistance is not too serious, and the insecticides permitted to be used in the general vegetable field are still effective. Vegetable farmers can choose the following agents and concentrations: 50% phoxim emulsifiable concentrate 1000 times, 20% cyhalothrin emulsifiable concentrate 2000 times, 2.5% deltamethrin emulsifiable concentrate 3000 times, or 10% cypermethrin emulsifiable concentrate 1000 times, etc. Organophosphorus and pyrethroid insecticides are all effective, and they are all low-toxicity, quick-acting agents, with an efficacy period of up to 10 days or more. In order to slow down the emergence of drug resistance, several different types of insecticides should be used alternately.
