When a purchaser binds a Star Rewards Card to his or her Star Club account and pays for the purchase by scanning the dynamic QR code on the Star Rewards Card through the Starbucks App ("Star Rewards Card Mobile Payment"), the amount of the purchase price paid by the purchaser, divided by 40 and rounded up to the fourth decimal, is the number of Level Stars and Goodies Stars that can be recorded in the purchaser's account (if the purchaser is a Gold Level Member at the time). The result is the number of Level Stars and Rewards Stars (if the purchaser is a Gold Level Member at the time) that can be recorded in the purchaser's account.

When a Purchaser pays by another valid payment method, the amount paid by the Purchaser for the Purchase divided by 50 and rounded up to the fourth decimal place will be the number of Level Stars and Favors Stars that can be recorded in the Purchaser's Account (if the Purchaser is a Gold Member at the time). Stars will be recorded in your StarHub account within 24 hours of the transaction being completed.

Products that do not count towards Stars:

Purchases of Membership Star Packs, Star Gift Cards (including the amount of money reloaded to the Star Gift Card), purchases of Ice Dumplings, Mooncakes, all types of Starbucks Gift Certificates, and Redemption Vouchers are not credited towards your StarHub account; bulk purchases of items that are eligible for special offers or discounts are not credited towards your StarHub account. Amounts purchased in bulk with special offers or discounts cannot be credited to the StarElite Club Account.

When purchasing prepaid vouchers at Starbucks Tmall Flagship Store, using the StarTalk platform and other online channels, the amount of purchase cannot be credited to the Star Club account, but when using the above prepaid vouchers to purchase or redeem products at Starbucks stores and Starbucks-designated channels, the corresponding purchase amount can be credited to the Star Club account.

Gift beverages in any form (e.g., through participation in credit card buy-one-get-one-free promotions, credit card point redemption programs, or gift beverages with vouchers) are not considered purchases and do not accrue stars in the Star Club account. In addition, Starbucks reserves the right to designate, from time to time, purchases of products that do not qualify for Stars in the Star Club Account.
