As a traditional Chinese medicine, scallion is spicy and warm, and has the efficacy of sweating and relieving exterior syndrome and activating Yang Qi. It has a conditioning effect on exogenous wind-cold and yin-cold, and can generally be used for boiling soup or porridge, or for external use, properly tamping, or decocting and washing. If it is boiled water, it can be boiled for a long time to make the pharmacological components of scallion more soluble in water. It is suggested that the water be boiled before boiling for about 10~ 15 minutes.
