How to make candied grapefruit peel
Ingredients: 1 grapefruit, 180g sugar, 150c.c. water, juice of 1/4 lemon
1. Pomelo After cleaning the surface, make a cross from the top and peel off the skin along the lines.
2. Cut off the grapefruit peel and cut it into bite-sized pieces.
3. Cut off the white inner layer of grapefruit peel to avoid bitter taste.
4. Pour the grapefruit peel into the pot, add water and bring to a boil, then filter the water and repeat three times to remove the bitter taste and then take it out.
5. Take a non-stick pot, pour the grapefruit peel, then add sugar, water, lemon juice, bring the sugar water to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low and cook until dry.
6. Take a barbecue grill, place a paper towel underneath, spread the grapefruit peels one by one, and let them cool completely.
7. Cover the sun-dried grapefruit peels with powdered sugar one by one and it’s done. Eat it chilled for better flavor. ?
