What are the eight treasures
Eight treasures originally referred to eight precious foods, and later to eight rare and precious cooking materials. The specific reference varies with the times and regions.

Zhou Dynasty: Chunao (rice with meat soy sauce), Chunmu (yellow rice with meat soy sauce), cannon dolphin (stewed suckling pig), cannon roe (stewed lamb with stew), Daozhen (roasted beef, mutton with wine and sugar), Zaozhen (similar to spiced beef jerky) and Ganzi.

Song Yuanming: Yunlong liver, phoenix marrow, leopard fetus, carp tail, roasted owl, scarlet lip, bear's paw, crispy buttered cicada.

Qing dynasty: ginseng (sea cucumber), wing (shark fin), bone (fish bones, also known as fish crisp), belly (fish belly), nest (bird's nest), palm (bear's paw), tendon (deer tendon) and frog (frog)

Extended data:

Many of the previous eight treasures are now protected animals, and it is forbidden to kill and eat them internationally, such as bears, monkeys, elephants, deer, orangutans, leopards, rhinoceroses, swans, owls, wild camels, seals, giant salamander and so on. Now these animals naturally cannot be included in the Eight Treasures.
