Tetraodontidae. Scleractinia, a family under the order Pufferiformes, commonly known as leatherbacks. There are about 118 species in 16 genera. The body is stubby or subelongate-elliptic. Morphological Characteristics

Tail often with a distinct skin fold along both sides of the lower part of the body. There is a swim bladder and air sac developed.
Habitat
The fish is a bottom-feeding carnivorous fish. Voracious, the main food shrimp, crabs, shellfish and small fish and so on. The esophagus is enlarged into an air sac on the front ventral side and the back ventral side, and it can absorb water and air when it meets the enemy, so that the abdomen expands like a ball and floats on the surface of the water.
Breeding
Most species swim inshore from the outer sea in the spring to spawn in the intertidal zone and small gravel, the spawning season is generally in April to June; a few species anadromous to freshwater to spawn.
