Plain flour 300g

Water 180g

Sugar 10g

Butter 10g

Yeast 4g

Methods to make buns with bread machine dough ?

Dissolve the sugar in lukewarm water below 40 degrees Celsius, then put the yeast into the sugar water and mix well, let it rest for 5-10 minutes to let the yeast activate.

Sift the flour and pour it into the water, start the rising program, when it forms a dough, slowly pour in the oil and keep mixing until the surface of the dough is smooth, and start the fermentation.

When the dough has doubled in size, remove it from the oven and place it on a sheet pan.

Roll out the dough into a long strip.

Roll it up again and repeat this 4-5 times to get the air bubbles out.

Cut the dough into 16 equal pieces.

Roll out into a circle with a thick center and thin edges.

Place the buns in a steamer rack and let them rise for a second time. When the buns have doubled in size, add 2cm of boiling water to the steamer and start steaming.

Steam for 15-20 minutes, turn off the heat and let cool for 5 minutes.
