What first aid should I give for a sea snake bite?
Buying time is of the utmost importance after being bitten. First you need to get a cloth belt or a long shoelace and tie it on the centripetal side of the wound, but make sure you take care to relax it for 2-3 minutes in 15 minutes. The snake venom on the surface of the wound should be rinsed out repeatedly with cold water. Then cut the skin of the wound in a cross shape with a small, sterilized knife, centered on the teeth marks. Then squeeze hard with both hands, fire cupping, or cover the wound with 4-5 layers of gauze, and suck hard through the gauze with your mouth (there should not be any wound inside the mouth; using the mouth to take drugs is not a good method, and the drug addicts may be poisoned as a result), and try to suck out the venom from the wound. Take antivenom tablets immediately and apply antivenom powder around the wound, but never apply alcohol to the wound. Try to slow down the movement of the injured person and take him/her to a nearby hospital for treatment quickly. (If you are not sure of the type of snake venom you should kill the snake and bring it along to the hospital.)
