2. "Autumn Lotus"
Yuan Dynasty: Liu Yin
The thin shadow is embarrassed, the light fragrance is faint, who wants to know? It is unbearable to see the beauty of the market, and even more so in the cold moonlight of Jiang Qing. I planned to spend the whole night in the Qingfang, but I didn't know that the white dew has already turned into autumn wind. The eyes of Shengsensen are still there, don't let the boat go empty.
Translation:
The lotus that blooms in summer cannot withstand the wind and frost in autumn and gradually withers. The faint fragrance no longer arouses the interest of passers-by. In the cold moonlight of the river, what is even more unbearable is that the flowers and leaves of the autumn lotus have fallen.
I originally thought that when the lotus pods grow, they can keep the autumn lotus blooming, but I don’t know that the autumn wind has already started blowing during the white dew. The changes in nature are the same as the changes in the human world. The ups and downs are clearly visible in my old eyes. It is better not to leave the wine glass on the boat empty and cherish the good times in front of you.

Whose family does that old man with white hair belong to? The eldest son was weeding in the bean field east of the stream, and the second son was busy weaving chicken coops. The most beloved one is the youngest son, who is lying in the grass at the head of the stream, peeling off the newly picked lotus pods.
