The items to be sterilized will be wrapped in newspaper, the items must be wrapped completely and put into the sterilizing mesh basket, leaving a gap between the items. Put the sterilizing net basket into the sterilizing pot, cover the outer cylinder cover, tighten the handwheel, so that the outer cylinder cover and the cylinder mouth plane completely close.

Turn on the power, set the pressure and time parameters required for sterilization on the operation panel. Sterilization parameters set up after pressing the "START" key, "drop" sound indicator light, the sterilization pot began to work. To be sterilized pot after the end of the second beep, the pressure indicates that the number drops to 0, indicating the end of sterilization, this time you can screw open the outer cylinder cover, remove the sterilized items.

Precautions

After sterilization, the experimental equipment is usually dried in the oven at 60℃~80℃ to remove the moisture during sterilization and avoid contamination. After finishing the sterilization work of the day, turn off the power switch. The use of tap water in the sterilization pot is strictly prohibited to prevent the heating ring of the sterilization pot from rusting due to the accumulation of scale, and the internal distilled water should be replaced regularly. Pay attention to the water tank level, not higher than the high water level line, not lower than the low water level line.

Sterilization items should not be too large, too tight package, to be neat and smooth, generally should be less than 30cm × 30cm × 50cm. sterilization pot package should not be lined up too dense, so as not to impede the steam penetration, affecting the sterilization effect. Flammable, explosive substances, such as iodoform, benzene, etc., prohibit high-pressure steam sterilization. Bottles of liquid sterilization, to use gauze to wrap the mouth of the bottle, and wrap the mouth of the bottle with newspaper. If there is a rubber stopper, it should be inserted into the needle exhaust, and if there is a cap, the cap should be unscrewed.
