Forging Knives is an anti-war drama produced by Yunwen Film Investment Limited Liability Company and Suzhou Transvision Film & TV Media Company Limited, directed by Zeng Hui and starring Pu Ba Jia, Xu Xing, Wang Ou, Zheng Yitong and Gao Feng.

The drama is set against the backdrop of the chaotic times of the Republic of China, and focuses on the Yunnan Zhaotong youths Jiang Xiaodao and Xiao Yihang, who led their troops out of Yunnan to fight against the Japanese, and tells the story of how the various strata of Yunnan's society saved the nation from perishing in the heady days of the past.

Synopsis:
