Du Yuesheng (1888 - 1951), male, formerly known as Du Yue Sheng, later suggested by Zhang Taiyan, changed his name to Yong, No. Yue Sheng, a native of Chuansha, Jiangsu Province (present-day Pudong New District, Shanghai), is a member of the modern Shanghai Youth Gang.
Du Yuesheng, born in 1888 in Chuansha Hall, Jiangsu Province (now Shanghai Pudong New Area) Gaoqiao South Du family house.
Before he was four years old, his parents died and he was raised by his stepmother and uncle, Shang Qingguo.
When Du Yuesheng was fourteen years old, he worshipped Chen Shichang of the Qing Gang as his old man.
Through the connections of Chen Shichang and others, Du Yuesheng entered the Huang Jinrong Residence, which was then the leader of the Qing Gang in Shanghai.
Du Yuesheng got the trust of the Golden Rong, and was responsible for the operation of the French Concession's casino, the "Kung Hing Club".
Du Yuesheng later collaborated with a warlord to sell opium.
In April 1949, Du Yuesheng left for Hong Kong.
On August 16, 1951, he died at the age of 63 in Hong Kong.

Du Yuesheng is the most legendary figure on the Shanghai Bund in the first half of the 20th century, from a small yakuza into the Ten Mile Ocean Park, Shanghai's largest gangster gang leader; he is polite, but ruthless, murderous, his life is full of thrilling legends, he has established a huge gangster Kingdom and the unique mark carved in modern Chinese history is still being talked about.
Between 1927 and 1937, Du Yuesheng's power was at its peak.
In 1937, when the war broke out, Du Yuesheng left Shanghai, first to Hong Kong and then to Chongqing; in 1945, when the war was won, Du Yuesheng returned to Shanghai as the undisputed general representative of the civil society, but the golden age of his calling has gone.
And by this time, it was well into the last six years of his life.
May 1, 1949, after bidding farewell to the Golden Rong, Du Yuesheng family boarded the crowded Holland Treasure Shueyun passenger ship, sailing to Hong Kong.
The ship passed the Huangpu River and sailed straight to Wusongkou, where Du Yuesheng's birthplace, Pudong Gaoqiao, was close at hand.
Forty-seven years ago, a young man from the countryside with patches on his pants came to Shanghai, and with his bare hands he built a world of flowers, but now everything has been blown away by the wind and the rain.
The old and sick Du Yuesheng stood at the bow of the boat, sighing.
