"Yangchun Baixue" is an ancient Qin music. According to legend, it was composed by Shi Kuang, a musician from Jin Dynasty during the Spring and Autumn Period. It is also said to be composed by Liu Juanzi from Qi Dynasty. In the second year of Xianqing's reign (657) in the Tang Dynasty, Lu Cai composed lyrics for "Spring Snow" based on old music from the piano.
"Xialiba people" refers to the folk songs circulated in Chu State during the Warring States Period. "Xiali" refers to the countryside and villages, and "Baren" refers to the people of Bashu.
"Xia Li" and "Ba Ren" were folk songs that were popular in Chu State at that time, so there were many people who could sing them. "Yangchun" and "White Snow" are relatively elegant music, and few people can sing them.
Later generations took this as an allusion and used "Yangchun Baixue" to refer to profound or elegant literature, art or music, and "Xiaoliba people" to represent popular literature and art works. , and the two are often used against each other. In addition, "Yangchun Baixue" is also used to refer to the ancient pipa music, also known as "Yangchun Ancient Music".
