Shad, for the anadromous spawning migratory fish, due to the annual timing into the river and named. Usually live in the sea, in late February to early March each year, reproductive groups from the ocean anadromous reproductive migration; in May to July, when the water temperature reaches 28 ℃ or so, that is, in the river tributaries or lakes have migratory slow flow, sandy bottom of the river section breeding. Spawning time is mostly in the evening or early morning, after reproduction, the parent fish still swim back to the sea. Juvenile fish enter the tributaries or lakes to feed, until September to October before descending into the sea.
