Green-finned horse-faced bream (scientific name: Thamnaconus modestus), bony fish, Monopterus. The common names are rubber fish, skinless fish, pig head fish and cobbler fish. It is distributed in South Korea, Japan, the east coast of the Indian Ocean and Africa, as well as the East China Sea, the Yellow Sea, the Bohai Sea and Shanghai in China. It is found in the Yangtze River estuary and other sea areas, and belongs to the offshore near-bottom fish. It often lives in habitats with a water depth of 50-120m. The model origin of this species is Yantai.
