There are many islands in Dalian. Each island has its own characteristics. If you have the chance, you must go.
1. Bangchui Island Bangchui Island is located in the eastern section of Binhai Road, Dalian City, about 5 kilometers southeast of Dalian City. It is a scenic spot with mountains, sea, islands and beaches as its main landscapes. "Bangchui Island" is actually a small island shaped like a stick, located between Dalian Bay and Laohutan Bay, 0.39 kilometers away from the land. It belongs to Zhongshan District, Dalian City (very close to my home). Sanshan Island in the distance (now developed into an island tourist resort) is covered with clouds and fog, and the sky is hazy. It is said that it is the three fairy mountains in the "Three Mountains and Five Sacred Mountains". The surrounding mountains are covered with green pines and trees, and the beach has blue waves, silver waves, and sparkling golden sand. This is a scenic resort with mountains, sea, islands, and beaches as its main landscape. There are many fascinating legends about the island. Legend has it that there is a golden stick flower in the Jade Emperor's back garden. This flower eats Tao wind and drinks fairy dew. It blooms for five thousand years, bears fruit for five thousand years, and matures for another five thousand years. Unexpectedly, a gust of breeze blew the fruit down to the world, and transformed into a beautiful girl, known as the Bangchui Fairy. She felt the beauty of the world and sang cheerfully: The white clouds paved the road by chance, and strange seeds grew in the sky and on the ground. After reading all the colors of the human world, I know that the lower world is better than the heaven. After the Jade Emperor learned about it, he chased Fairy Bangchui back to heaven. With the beautiful memories of the human world, Fairy Bangchui threw her beloved needle from the air to the human world, and it landed in the sea and became the island today. Bangchui Island got its name from this.
2. Dachangshan Island is located in the center of Changshan Islands and is the seat of Changdao County. When Japan and Russia competed for Lushun Pass, the Japanese fleet was anchored on this sea. Seeing Dachangshan Island from a distance, it looks like a crouching dragon lying on the waves, with the dragon's head slightly raised, and the undulating dragon body in the middle. I believe in the saying that "everything has spirituality". This is not the only one with spirituality, the Jin Chan Tuo in Jin Chan Port and the Yuanyang Tuo in Yuanyang Port are also lifelike. The Qixiang Garden located at the southern end of Dachangshan Island is the most worth visiting attraction on the island. It covers an area of ??more than 6,600 square meters and is dedicated to the patron saint of fishermen - the Goddess of the Sea. The Poseidon holds up the lotus lantern and stares kindly at the sea hundreds of miles ahead, ensuring the harmony of hundreds of boats and the safety of all people. Every year on the 13th day of the first lunar month, the birthday of the Goddess of the Sea, men, women and children come out to burn incense and kowtow with blessings and prayers. Thousands of sea lanterns are put into the sea, drifting with the current, twinkling. Just thinking about the scene is already exciting. Sanyuan Palace is a newly built building on the island with little history. The Taoist Priest is a young woman studying medicine in Yihe. Standing at the gate of Sanyuan Palace, facing the vast sea and leaning against the lush green mountains, you will feel sincerely I sighed at the good Feng Shui here and thought about staying, not to learn Taoism, but just for the scenery. The main attractions include: Qixiang Garden, Sanyuan Palace, Beihai Bathing Beach, Island Building and Shou Island Memorial Tower, Shuangfeng Chaoyang, Hedatuo National Marine Treasures Reserve, China Fishing Association Fishing Base, etc.

The Xiaochangshan Islands have excellent sea fishing conditions and have been approved by the China Fishing Association as a national sea fishing base. Every year, they attract a large number of Chinese and foreign fishing enthusiasts and tourists to the islands for fishing, leisure and entertainment. Compared with Dachang Mountain, the sand in Xiaochang Mountain is finer and the water is clearer. Big trees, grass, and bushes grow aimlessly on the island. Various crops are planted on the gentle slopes. The country roads are rugged and winding, and wildflowers bloom freely and wildly on the roadside. If you just walk around, you can see several excellent natural bathing spots, and groups of seagulls are playing or circling on the rocks not far away. It is at high tide that the sea water gently flows over the beach, carrying a few green kelp. The soothing beach is so soft that people can't bear to step on it. The shore is lined with kelp dried by fishermen, and it's dark.
4. Caishen Island Caishen Island is a remote island located next to Guanglu Island in Changhai County. It is small in area and named after the Temple of Caishen on the island, which bodes well. Perhaps this is the reason why it always attracts a large number of tourists to Caishen Island every year.
When traveling on the island, you can see a Taoist temple - the Temple of Wealth, which enshrines several statues of the Dragon King, the God of Wealth, Mazu and Guanyin. There is also an elderly Taoist priest who lives here all year round. This Taoist temple was built in 2005 by the people who contracted the island. It seems that the temple is well preserved. When the breeze blows, you can hear the crisp sound of bells hitting the incense burner. At the end of the path along the temple is a pavilion. From here, you can see the entire island, a very natural scene.
The water quality here is without any pollution and is crystal clear. After nearly 10 years of construction, the environment here is no longer the small island with only three houses and no fresh water in the past. It is a paradise island that everyone loves. After years of exploration, a fresh water well has been drilled, and 17 wind power equipment have solved all the electricity consumption on the island. The most unforgettable thing is the seafood here, the sea urchins, cayenne clams and conches freshly fished out of the sea. . . . . . . Everything is so fresh.

Xizhong Island is surrounded by mountains on three sides and faces the sea on one side. A 4-kilometer-long high-quality beach stretches along the coastline. You can land on the island along the embankment road. The sea water is extremely clear, and the waves that hit the beach are transparent and covered with white spray. You can even see the fine sand under the water rolling with the waves. Hundreds of seagulls were flying around on the sea, as if there was no one around. It's a pleasure to play on such a good beach. Beach volleyball, football, or building sand sculptures are all more fun because of the soft sand. Jumping and swimming in the sea will immediately relieve the heat. When the tide is low in the afternoon, you can pick up small crabs and starfish. Sitting on the beach in the evening and watching the sunset, this time-honored aesthetic method is still intoxicating. The entertainment does not end when the sun goes down. It is also fun to have a barbecue and set off fireworks on the beach at night.
