How should chronic hepatitis be treated?
The treatment of chronic hepatitis requires hospitalization, bed rest, taking multivitamins, and alcohol is strictly prohibited. Women should avoid pregnancy. Commonly used drugs are interferon (intramuscular injection of (3 ~ 5) 106 units every other day for 6 months), cytarabine (daily 10 ~ 15 mg/kg, reduced to 5 ~ 8 mg/kg after 7 days, usually for 3 days), adrenal glucocorticoid and arabinoside. Silymarin can be taken orally for 3 ~ 6 months. Traditional Chinese medicine has a good effect on changing symptoms and liver function, but its effect on virus has not been confirmed.
