Reproduction methods
Seedling is an important technical link in the process of water chestnut cultivation, which is the basis and guarantee of high yield and quality. There are mainly 2 kinds of nursery methods in production: bulb nursery and planting nursery. The seedling time, sowing technology, seedling field management, transplanting standards of different seedling methods are different.
Split-plant nursery time is earlier, in mid-April every year, with less seed, after seedling, pseudo-planting expansion to increase the number of seedlings moved to the field. Bulb nursery is the traditional way of nursery, in the middle of June every year, small field nursery, large field planting, omit the pseudo-planting and propagation link.
