Poisonous weed, a perennial herb of Labiatae [1], is cold-tolerant, shade-tolerant, drought-tolerant and pruning-resistant. It can withstand the low temperature below 0 C in winter, and the growth at high temperature above 30°C in summer is limited. The most suitable growth temperature is between10-20 C. The plant height is about 50 cm, the stems and leaves have the fragrance of carved soap, and they are umbellate inflorescences with lip-shaped pink purple flowers, which bloom in July-August. Melissa officinalis is easy to reproduce, and can be sown, cut and propagated by ramets.
